Terms of use

Early access. These short terms cover the free early-access period. Paid plans, if any, will come with their own terms, announced before they apply.

1. What this is

Let's OSINT is an investigation training platform, free during early access. You need an account (one per person; keep your sign-in to yourself). The service is provided as is: it may change, be interrupted or stop, and may contain mistakes. You can close your account at any time by writing to us.

2. Fictional content

Everything inside the exercises (companies, people, places, documents, websites, phone numbers, bank details) is fictional and made for training. Any resemblance to real persons or organizations is unintended. If you think something resembles a real person or brand, please tell us and we will change it. See the fictional content & AI notice.

3. Acceptable use

  • Do not search for the fictional people or companies on the real internet, and do not contact anyone.
  • Use the techniques you learn lawfully and proportionately, in line with your role and local law.
  • Do not attack, overload or try to break the service, and do not enter real personal data in notes or answers.

4. Scores

Scores and results are for practice. They are not a certification and are not accredited. They are kept with your account (see the privacy notice).

5. Intellectual property

The Cases, texts, images and software remain the property of Let's OSINT. You may share your result card and short quotes with a link back.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage arising from the use of the free service. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.
